Research Interests

Previously, Dr. Bakinde served as Chief of Medicine at Grady Hospital for Morehouse School of Medicine, where he coordinated clinical service activities and was actively involved in clinical education. Recognizing the critical need for experienced leadership in medical education, he transitioned to the role of Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. His extensive experience and leadership skills are now instrumental in shaping the future of medical education at Morehouse, ensuring the development of the next generation of physicians. This strategic move underscores Dr. Bakinde's commitment to mentoring and training future medical professionals.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Bakinde holds several key positions at Morehouse School of Medicine, including Chair of the Appointments and Promotions Committee, Interim Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine, and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Bakinde's scholarly work includes numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, and he has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. His research interests focus on internal medicine, clinical anatomy, and neuroscience.
